Why this route

The trip starts slowly on the Atlantic. Two nights in Asilah, with a free beach day, give the group time to settle in.

Chefchaouen gets three nights. One day is for the Akchour waterfalls and another is free, with a hammam or a cooking class for whoever wants one.

The last two nights are in Tetouan, inside the band of totality. Sleeping there means nobody drives on eclipse morning.

Questions about this trip

Is it very hot in August?

The north in August is much easier going than the south or the desert. The route stays near the coast or in the mountains.

What if it's cloudy on eclipse day?

Behind cloud you won't see the corona, but the sky still goes dark for those minutes. The nine days before the eclipse are the same either way. [PENDIENTE]
